The public has come to SEAMEC, the Seattle Metropolitan Elections Committee, for years for our reviews of candidates regarding LGBT rights. This is especially true for candidates that receive little, if any press, like judicial candiates. Races like these deserve our greatest scrutiny. Earlier this year, SEAMEC began working with Q-Law, a state-wide organization working to advance LGBT rights in courts of law, regarding their ratings and endorsements of judicial candidates. As representatives of LGBT clients, Q-Law is intimately aware of what makes a good judge tick and what to look out for in candidates who run for the bench. We chose to work with Q-Law because we have historically mirrored each other's opinions of judicial cadidates. SEAMEC proudly presents the Q-Law evaluations and presented online at VotingForJudges.org:
